Jumpstart
The Jumpstart feature is an automatic installation process available in the Solaris operating environment. It allows system administrators to categorize machines on their network and automatically install systems based on the category to which a system belongs.

Trusted SSH
In a PCI environment, trusted ssh is a must for admin servers. You can pass an audit with trusted host if you still have root protected. Use wisely.
You will need to replace "SERVERA, SERVERB, and MYID" with values that fit for your environment.

IPMP
IP network multipathing, is a facility provided by Solaris to provide fault-tolerance and load spreading for network interface cards (NICs). With IPMP, two or more NICs are dedicated for each network to which the host connects. Each interface is assigned a static "test" IP address, which is used to assess the operational state of the interface. Each virtual IP address is assigned to an interface, though there may be more interfaces than virtual IP addresses, some of the interfaces being purely for standby purposes. When the failure of an interface is detected its virtual IP addresses are swapped to an operational interface in the group.
The IPMP load spreading feature increases the machine's bandwidth by spreading the outbound load between all the cards in the same IPMP group.
in.mpathd is the daemon in the Solaris OS responsible for IPMP functionality.

Sun Trunking
Sun Trunking 1.3 software allows you to aggregate up to four Sun GigabitEthernet adapter card ports or up to sixteen 10/100 Sun FastEthernet adapter card ports into a single virtual link or trunk. Once aggregated, these point-to-point links act as a single "fat pipe" to provide increased bandwidth and high availability, enabling higher aggregated data transfer rates than any single Sun GigabitEthernet or FastEthernet adapter card link.
